Breastfeeding i...Oh don't beat yourself up hon. Breastfeeding is not for everyone, and the simple fact that you are pumping is great! Not only is your baby getting the breast milk, but now Mommy is happy too! Not that I don't think you would have been happy nursing, but it just doesn't work out for everyone. I nursed all 4 of mine past a year old and had so many problems, however I was determined. Did you ever try putting a little dab of sugar water on your nipple to get her to latch on? Just curious as this is what the nurses did to me in the hospital. Were they giving your baby bottles in the hospital? If so, this may have caused confusion from the very beginning. It's not your fault though, and I think you are a great Mom for trying! Who cares what others think!
